I found out about this race through Brazen. While it’s not a Brazen race, they did do the timing. That said, it was almost as well done as a Brazen race.
The pros:
The race fees all go to support Lazarex Cancer Foundation and Hep B Free San Francisco. The swag was great, nice shirt and great medal (it spins)! The course was glorious – I love running in Crissy Field or anywhere along the Marina if it’s a beautiful San Francisco day. The post race food was really good – and it was pot luck!
The cons:
The course was not well marked at all and unfortunately the “course monitors” were teens that were more interested in their phones than making sure i went the right way (even when I stopped and asked) – so I ended up short on my distance. The other con was that the parking signs were a little far from the race, especially when it turned out there was plenty of parking at the race start.
