Aid the Silent 5K

Join Team Aid the Silent as we gather together to support the deaf and hard-of-hearing community at our annual 5K race in the Texas Hill Country. Help raise awareness while you enjoy a great walk or run in the historic downtown Boerne. The race will be fully deaf and hard-of-hearing accessible with live captioning and interpreters.

Stroll along the newly-finished river walk, view local artwork from area donors and enjoy the scenic grounds of this quaint city. Come for the race, but stay for the day. Make it a family affair and visit local boutiques, dine at well-known local restaurants, or visit nature trails throughout the town.

All proceeds will benefit Aid the Silent which helps deaf and hard-of-hearing children and teens receive equal opportunity by providing financial assistance to enhance communication methods; gain access to education resources; and to grow socially, educationally and spiritually. Funds collected help equip deaf and hard-of-hearing children and teens with the necessary tools to find personal success through offering the monetary resources through Aid the Silent’s four programs: Deaf Resources, Deaf Education, Deaf Ministry and Deaf Research.
