Run the Runway 5K AGS

Have you ever run on an actual Airport Runway? Join this March to race on Augusta Regional Airport’s runway and taxiway!

Run the Runway is a sanctioned race designed as a fundraiser for the Augusta-based nonprofit, America’s Warrior Partnership, an organization that partners with communities to prevent veteran suicide. With our strong military presence in The Augusta River Region, we selected this nonprofit due to its commitment to improving the quality of life for veterans and ending veteran suicide by empowering local communities to serve them proactively and holistically before a crisis occurs.

Children 7 and under will be able to participate in a fun run and will receive a t-shirt as well.

Start/Finish: The race has a hard start time of 8:00 a.m. for the Fun Run and the 5k will have a hard start of 9:00 a.m. and finish at Augusta Regional Airport & Lock and Dam Park. This route will be primarily concrete with some gravel and dirt.

Vendors will be onsite to provide water, fruit, and giveaways. Only service animals will be allowed. You may run or walk. Strollers and wheelchairs are allowed. There is no rain day alternate.
