I have run the Monumental 7-8 years in a row and one of the best things about it is that they improve on various facets every year. Marketing, Expo and Packet pickup, course start, water stations and support, to the finish and the post race environment – every year they strive to make it better and IMM delivers!

For this time of year you can’t beat this venue. Fort Harrison and the surrounding area is just beautiful. Foliage is still pretty green this year but to start and finish at the Fort is just stunning. Pre-race fire pits to keep warm and the post race cookout were excellent touches. The long sleeve half zip shirt was an excellent and unique choice too.
