Small local race. First 9 miles down, next 4 up. 2019 is the last year so I’ll probably run it again but I know a lot won’t. It’s a straight course with very little fan support except the volunteers at the water stations. Plenty of water/food stations

Don’t let someone tell you this is a flat course. It’s not. It seemed to be slow rolling hills the entire race. It’s small but very supportive and fun! I’d like to try for their Triple Crown one year. Doesn’t take the same route as OKC Memorial but it takes you through several neat housing districts

Ragnar Luckenbach was awesome. Of course, it was my first ragnar so I have nothing to compare it to except half marathons. The course was tough! You’re definitely in hill country and they had no qualms about ending already “hard” legs on super steep hills so be prepared! I’d definitely do it again. Great swag, awesome scenery and afterparty area.

This was my favorite of the 3 half marathons I’ve done (OKC Memorial, A2A). Loved the course. Killer hill to the courthouse! Very organized. Difficulty wasn’t much different than OKC but the route is laid out better. We had zero issues with anything race related from packet pickup to post race.

This was a good race/course. Good production although I felt a little lost at the finish line. It was only my 2nd but I really enjoyed all the fan support along the route and the participation swag too. The route wasn’t quite as hard as A2A but it wasn’t seriously flat either.

Small production (benefiting local needs) compared to major races, which was very nice for my first. Let me just warn you that the first 3 or so miles are downhill. Not up and down. Just down. After that, you have long rolling hills with small flat stretches in between. It starts in the mountains and runs to Ardmore. I’ll probably always run it but I have friends in OKC that won’t ever run it again because of the hills.
