My first ever Destination Races half, and boy was I grateful for signing up for this half! It was breathtaking from the start, endless vineyards, rolling hills and wine on the course! Plenty of room to run, not overcrowded and friendliest runners I have ever ran with (and this was pre wine)! I loved the course, just barely missed my PR. I also loved the race swag from the medal, and personal favorite the race shirt fabric is AWESOME! I loved be after race celebration! I think I leaped towards the memorable wine glass and was estatic to learn about all the vineyards in the area. It was a great showing of Healdsburg, so friendly, outstanding wine and the perfect amount of wineries, outstanding race director, easy biB pickup, and of course all in California wine country! Thank you for helping me check it off my bucket list of running a half through wine country! Hope to do Oregon next!
