I have done, and really enjoyed, several Vacation Races, Rocky Mountain Elk Double was no exception! The uphill was gradual, and very walk and runnable for all different levels. The race takes place outside park boundaries and has beautiful scenery, starting and finishing at Lake Estes park. The only downside I saw was a bit of a walk to the start and from the finish to the parking area, but looking at the positive, was a great way to warm up and cool down! The weather was perfect this year, snacks and swag was also great! Another great Vacation Race!
