This race is brutal and so worth it! 8.5 miles of climbing 2100 feet and then 5 miles of decent to the finish line. It’s intense but truely the most rewarding half marathon I’ve ever ran!

Be honest with your estimated times because he race stages runner and it really makes things go smoothly. The race directors do a great job communicating too! We had a sudden rain storm come through early in the morning and they did a great job delaying the start and making sure everyone was well aware. One thing to be on top of as you plan is lodging. If you don’t want to camp then make reservations for lodging early as these races bring in a big crowd!
