    A half marathon
  • I run because:

    I run because I can. Because running gives me life. Because running gives and also takes away. I recently turned 40. A year prior, I decided to get healthy. Started out with clean eating and walking. Walking became boring…so I picked up the pace. A friend of mine started doing 5K’s and invited me to run a mud run 5K with her. It was the most rewarding experience I ever had and I was hooked.

This race was awesome. Only thing I would recommend is that there be more race time through the aquarium. Overall, the race swag and medal are awesome! I love all the extra perks that come along with racing. I love how I feel after a race and how I’m treated after a race! Can’t wait till next year!

This was my first time Conquering the bridge. It was awesome! I loved running with all the service men and women. The energy is just amazing. Wish we gotten a tshirt in our race packets, but the medal is so cool!
