Get ready for hills. Starting a race on the ferry is such a unique one of a kind experience; definitely need to add this one to your bucket race! Organization is amazing; race directors did a great job making everything run smoothly. Swag is super good too; super comfortable t-shirt and very cool medal.
Get ready for a small hill in the first mile, a huge hill at mile 9, and another couple surprise hills between mile 10-12. Last mile is all down hill to coast into the finish.

What a fun treat to dress up as pirates and go for a run! I was super impressed with how many people committed to dressing up while still giving it all on their run. The staff/swag were amazing as always and I’m planning on running again next year!

I always love the Orca Half! This was my third time racing it and PB for the course. The shuttles are super quick convenient to get you from the finish to the start and the finish line views are unbeatable. Looking forward to running again next year!
