This was my first half marathon! I had a great time and it was super pretty to start the race in the dark (6:00am) and get to see the sunrise. It would’ve been too hot to start it later (race is in Florida at the end of March). I was not expecting to have to run over the huge Singer Island Bridge (during mile 8 and mile 11), but overall I really enjoyed the route and had so much fun. The bridge added some diversity to the route which I enjoyed. T-Shirt is cute and the medal is really cool. Only complaint is that the race photos are not included. It is $19.99 per photo (or $59.99 for 3-50) photos. I have never ran a half-marathon before and I assumed the photos were included in the race sign up price. If this is normal then ignore, but I personally think that it should be included, or at least have the price be more towards $5.00 per photo.
