Impressive organization, you can tell a lot of time. effort, and investment goes into making this weekend a success for Newport News. As smooth as it gets from bib pick-up at expo to dropping off your bag right at the start line, including race morning shuttles and everything in between. The course is flat with tons of support with local crowds and hydration, and clearly marked with mile markers for all events. The post race party at the finish is also tons of fun, includes drinks, food trucks, massage tents for recovery, and lots more. I have ran the full marathon four times and will continue coming to enjoy and support this small town event!
