The course was actually pretty hilly for the first three miles, but the following ten were basically downhill the rest of the way! Quiet a few miles are on gravel roads and you really have to watch your footing, but it if you like trail running you will have fun!
All the volunteers were super awesome! The post race food was great and they had cold towels🙌🏻

I would highly recommend this rave to anyone, especially nature/mountain lovers, and runners who love some awesome bling!
I participated in the black bear double challenge so I received an extra medal at the finish line for completing both races! It’s a beauty too!
The course was very quiet and beautiful. It was mostly run on mountain backroads which has it pros and cons. One awesome thing is we didn’t deal with much car traffic at all, for the most part it was all runners who sure made the race go by quickly! Another great thing is the course was beautiful. It really captures how beautiful our mountains are! However the roads were sometimes difficult to run on because of the steep grading wearing on my knees and ankles…the hills were pretty killer too. But it was worth it!

It was incredibly rainy when I ran this race, however despite the rain, the race directors were still able to pull off a smooth, fun, and safe race for everyone!
The course was pretty easy and fun with a few hilly portions when running across the bridge but overall it was fast and flat! It would have been even more beautiful on a sunny day!
The Bling for this race will probably never be beat! The medal is as big as my face and it’s beautiful and sparkly! I would run the race just for the medal and T-shirt!

If your a Disney lover…this rave is MOST definitely for you! But even if you aren’t a Disney runner…or a runner at all, there’s a place for you at a Disney race!
Running through the parks is amazing and all the characters stops/djs make the course fly by! It was very flat compared to the NC hills I’m used to, but I’ll admit running up the on ramps at around mile 10 wasn’t too much fun. Other than that the course was enjoyable!
I think the price of a rundisney event scares people away sometimes, but having finally given in to the urge to spend over $200 on a race, there’s no doubt in my mind it was worth every penny! Everyone over the weekend was there to support the runners and make the race weekend the best it could be for us! We didn’t have to worry about transportation or anything other than the race ahead! The volunteers were amazing and everything was so smooth and fun and stress free! The course was awesome and the bling is gorgeous!! I’ll definitely be back!

There is only one hill throughout the course that you end up running twice, otherwise it’s so flat and easy! The swamp rabbit trail (which you run the majority of the time) is very beautiful!
I didn’t love that the finish lane came directly after having to run up the hill.
If they bring this rave back in the next year like they have talked about doing, I highly recommend.
