The half marathon in Bird and Hand, Pennsylvania, was an incredible experience, winding through the picturesque Amish countryside. The event was organized flawlessly, and I truly appreciated the ice provided along the route. It was hot and humid this year 82° and 74% humidity. This is made for a rough race for me. The volunteers were fantastic, and the community’s support was remarkable. The whole weekend was so incredibly fun. From the pasta dinner (even though the pasta was super mushy) and s’more’s bonfire night the evening before to the race itself. This is definitely a race you won’t want to miss.
