This race takes you through meadows, by streams, through the forest; continuously gorgeous and delightful. The vibes are very peaceful and through the race we were often running alone. It is very hilly and rolls the entire time so pace yourself. The last mile was the hardest- steep and sunny- but the music, cheering and my running mates kept me going.
My only request would be for it to me more planet conscious, offering things like a no metal option, recycling for paper, fuel that isn’t individually wrapped in plastic, etc. but this course was otherwise practically perfect in every way! Great vibes, music, clearly marked trails, friendly people, super organized, not overcrowded, and the landscape enchanting. Absolute magic.
