This was my first half and I was coming off of a shin splint so my review of difficulty might be influenced, Overall this was a good first half, the large hill was REALLY tough, there was some curving in the course to help alleviate it, but still very steep. Aid stations were great, I didn’t bring anything of my own for fuel and felt fine the whole time. The biggest problem I had is that they DO NOT close the roads during this race, I was stuck behind a car at the end of the half on a one lane road, which cost me 5 minutes on my finishing time. Overall this was a fun race and I enjoyed all the history- the gear was great and I will probably run again, however this is not a course to PR on because of the obstacles/if you want to take time to read the history
