This event is first class all the way. The whole weekend offers something for everyone, with family events on Saturday and the marathon and 10 mile races on Sunday. The expo is fun and efficiently run.
The starting area has plenty of restrooms and it’s easy to find where you need to go.
Now the best part – the course. It’s beautiful in the Twin Cities in early October. Tremendous views, and people lining the course for seemingly the entire 26.2 miles. As much food and drink as you could ask for at the finish. Results are posted promptly. I’ve done the marathon and 10 mile multiple times, and my kids have done events on Saturday. We will continue to make this weekend a family tradition.
