After running mostly halfs, I found a new love for 5Ks. Brazen has quickly become my go-to for races. This trail run did not disappoint! I always get do bib pick up the morning of the race and never have any problems, it’s organized and well run.
The weather was perfect (a little chilly before the race began) but you can’t beat the scenery of this one! Although be ready for the hills. I traditionally look for flat races but even though this one was a challenge, it was definitely do able. I will be back to do this one again!

The infamous Badgercat (race was moved due to flooding) was my first 5K race (after only doing halfs). The course (wildcat) was tough (hills and mud galore) so I can’t speak for the actual Badger Cove course.
Brazen did not let us down. I am sure other race promoters would just cancel a race if they couldn’t hold it at the original location but that didn’t stop Brazen. I was impressed with how organized it was and you can’t beat their bling! If you’re looking for holiday medals, this is a great St. Patrick’s Day one!

This was my 4th half marathon. I picked it due to the mild weather (thank goodness the rain stopped but it made for a muddy staging area) and the course (flat). Scenery is okay, better than a road race. I loved that they had pacers. First mile as with every race was crammed but found myself alone many times on the course. This was my first Brazen race and have ran 2 more and have 2 more upcoming races. I run for the bling and they have awesome medals, tech shirts (for halfs) and medals for top 3 in age groups.
