This was my first time vs distance race. As someone who knows how and counts how many steps it takes to finish a distance, this race was a paradigm shift.
The loops were long enough to feel like you were making progress and short enough to feel like it didn’t take long.

Great race. This was a last minute entry after I arrived the week before at packet pickup for Coast Guard and realized I never completed the registration.
The concept of the race is fun. Read the idea behind their medal. The Unicorn is an ideal, a rare occurrence. The mule represents an unwillingness to give up.
