From miles 0-7, the scenery was great, running the Golden Gate Park, with both uphills and downhills. However, from 7-13, with a 6 mile stretch along Ocean Beach was tedious. … MORE
From miles 0-7, the scenery was great, running the Golden Gate Park, with both uphills and downhills. However, from 7-13, with a 6 mile stretch along Ocean Beach was tedious. Running in a flat straight line for 3 miles, then doing a U-Turn and doing the same flat 3 miles all over again was painstaking. Would recommend to course organizers to alter course.
