I think if they are able to get the original course route back it would be worth doing it. A couple of weeks before the race they sent a notification the course route had changed to Mt. Charleston, which was not chill.
What the organizers were able to put together went well. Straight downhill for 20 miles, and last 5-6 was hot. Finish line did the job.

Overall, I didn’t expect as many hills, but the crowd keeps you going.
I would do this race again, but probably wouldn’t try this one as a first time runner.
