It is quite hot in July but the majority of the course is shaded. Tasty flavored popsicle, water, and Gatorade are plenty along the course. Two hours just fly by quickly. Awesome volunteers in Santa costumes. I’d love to go back next year.

The starting and finishing areas were next to Greek’s Pizza place, which was very nice to keep warm and comfortable. The pizza at the after race gathering was excellent! There were plenty of parking spaces. A few fellow runners treat this race as of May Indy 500 mini warm-up.
