I chose to run in the Cowtown 10K run because I was born and raised in Fort Worth. Two years ago I weighed over 500 lbs. and wanted to challenge myself to achieve a crazy goal. The event is very organized. From the ease of registering online to the health expo where you pick up your packet. The course was well designed and I love all the support throughout the race. I will definitely make this an annual return home trip. You will not be disappointed.

This was my very first race I ever competed in. I love to support worthwhile causes, and helping cancer survivors definitely fits that bill. The people are so nice and it’s close to where I live. I completed the 5K last year. This year I’m running the quarter marathon. I will definitely make this apart of my annual running schedule.
