Revel puts on a well organized race. From the ease of packet pickup, the nice race swag (included gloves and a heat sheet for the cold morning start), the efficiency of the shuttles to the startling, to the finish. It was a fun race all around. Each water station was fully stocked with plenty of great volunteers. Definitely felt the downhill course in the quads after the race. Be prepared to be cold at the start and warm up closer you get to the finish.

This race had been on my bucket list for a long time and excited to finally cross it off. I found this race to be extremely well organized. From the expo to the race, never ran into any major issues. Bib pick up was a breeze but the shirts ran a bit small this year. I was able to exchange after the race. It’s an out and back course that runs along the coast, with some rolling hills to keep it interesting. Beautiful course, lots of well placed water stops and photographers, free beer and snacks at the finish, and the smell of sea lions everywhere.
