Gorgeous scenery. More uphill than I had anticipated, long gradual uphills. Trail portion was very technical, not a lot of areas conducive for safe passing so just be mindful and vocal of your fellow runners. It was a well put on race, the announcer was awesome!!! The raffle was a fun element! Enjoyed the awards ceremony. The medals were wonderful! I would definitely recommend this race. You do need to be mindful of the trails for many reasons. It is tough to mark a trail like that, but I felt that they really tried to mark it well. Overall a very enjoyable experience and was beautiful! This race was a great way to start off my destination wedding day!

This race treats Maniacs and Fanatics right! If you are a maniac, fanatic or 50 stater you’ll love the perks at this race! It’s a very well put on race for all! No detail is spared. The spectators are some of the very best! Tulsa does not disappoint! I’ve ran this race multiple times and they are always working to improve and it gets better every time! They work with the hotel partners for late check outs and they have a good expo.

It was a very well put on race! I originally had some concerns as I ran this race in 2022 and it was a small, very well put on event! I was concerned that with the massive growth in participants that occurred due to the awesome sponsoring of sign up costs (amazing!) that it would have some fast growing pains. I was pleasantly surprised that wasn’t the case at all!!! It was a very well put on race. My only negative would be they could use more port-a-pots, but that was it! The town of Salina was welcoming and has lots of art, great spectators! It was wonderful! I look forward to having the chance to run it next year!! I don’t want to miss it!
