Hello everyone, the first time I ran this race was in 2013 with Students Run LA. Now that I’ve graduated, I couldn’t wait for the 2016 registration to open and be able to run this race on my own. The Holiday Half Marathon is one of my favorite races of all time! It has such a motivational vibe throughout its course, it has excellent aid stations, at the end of the race there’s a relaxing massage station, the race takes place in a beautiful scenery of nature and the creative shirt designs and medals are the most unforgettable pieces of this Holiday Theme Race. I always like to place my medal on the top of my Christmas tree, its the ornament I must have every year. This race has really motivate me to keep running in order to keep my Christmas spirit going, from the start line of falling snow to the end of the race in which a Marine puts your medal around your neck. I feel happy in this race, I can assure you that this race should be on your running list because even as a graduate of Students Run LA, I feel like I can run it over and over AGAIN! Let’s not forget this race offers a specialty for those who run it more than once AND a Golden Snowflake Challenge!
