This is my 3rf Bloomsday and although I wasn’t as prepared as I would have liked this time, I really enjoyed it. This year I did my best but also took the time to enjoy the view. My only complaint is that some of the water stations had water that tasted like hose water. Usually this wouldn’t bother me…but weird enough, the hose tasting water made me more thirsty during the race!

The people at the water stations along the way are so friendly and encouraging! I also appreciate that the people along the way selling otter pops and drinks actually have great low prices! Makes it super affordable for anyone who needs something cold to keep going forward in their race. The Bloomsday t-shirts you get at the end are really awesome too.

I really liked that everyone was so encouraging and cheered you on. Lots of opportunities to get high fives and congrats all around. I could really do without seeing the very graphic Anti-Abortion posters. Bloomsday is a family friendly event and do not need to see those pictures.
