This was my first half marathon ever. I thought this run was absolutely perfect. I was in the first race. I hoped that the timing of the sunset would line up with me being near the cliffs of Lollipop Loop and it was. The race was very challenging, especially on the part that felt like Mars, but I was able to finish that part in the dimming light. Running under the stars was just magical. I think I’m hooked!
