This race is so very well organized. Not only is the scenery so beautiful but for me what makes this race complete are the volunteers! They are so accommodating and also your biggest cheer leaders on the course. Also love the shirts, medals, and FREE marathon photos! The post race spread is amazing with so many options for all runners! I’ve done races all over the country and only a few come close to comparison to Missoula! No complaints or suggestions here!! This race for me this year was to finish and find out the sex of our new baby, my husband was at the finish line with pink balloons to reveal to me! Best finish line ever!

Despite the crazy weather, this race was in my top three favorites. The course is beautiful and the downhill makes for a speedy course! Everything was very well organized and the volunteers that stayed through the wind,cold, and rain are simply amazing!! I’m sure the finish would have been great, however the weather made us want to get back to our hotel asap! Great race will definitely be making the trip down next year!
