Calm set up with plenty of parking. A cool run into Mount Hood National Forest with big trees providing ample shade for most of the course. The run into the national forest along the river was great and felt like a trail run at times (on pavement). A bit hilly, probably not a PR situation for most, but that wasn’t my goal here. Support was good overall, plenty of water stations along the route. I enjoyed myself and had no problems, but there were sections where I felt dependent on the patience of the occasional drivers (particularly during the final miles; most gave a nice wide berth) and I would have appreciated the chance to buy race insurance in case of illness. Beautiful area. Would do again.
