This race is always a bright spot in that part of spring that is gray and gloomy. Negative Split has such a dedicated and friendly team, and I always enjoy racing with them. They embody some of the best parts of Spokane. I enjoyed both iterations of this race course, and it always has enough aid stations. The team has adapted well to new COVID-19 restrictions, and I have always felt safe running with them, even in these uncertain times. 100% would recommend! 🙂

I have run this half marathon 3 times, and I enjoyed all 3 experiences immensely. In a normal year, the point-to-point nature of this race is very appealing and a great change of pace. This year was trying for everyone, but Negative Split made the race fun and safe at the same time. Negative Split always has amazing swag and is always very friendly. I will continue to participate in this race for many years to come.

I ran this race in 2018 for my 21st birthday with my best friend. It was beautiful and unique. I would definitely recommend it to others who are considering participating. A full meal and a beautiful medal at the finish line were a great feature of this lovely race! 🙂

I love Bloomsday, and have participated in 12 of the last 14 years. I have been participating since I was six years old, and I look forward to it every year! It is a race with a great dynamic, and truly reflects the running spirit and community present in Spokane! The thing that I like the most about running this race is the variety of hills. The only thing that is difficult is that the asphalt is hard on the body! There is very beautiful scenery, and the race and trade show take you through scenic downtown Spokane. The trade show is also excellent!
