I love the race itself, but some of the changes were less than shiny. I agree with a previous review that putting the port-a-potties next to the corrals was disastrous. … MORE
I love the race itself, but some of the changes were less than shiny. I agree with a previous review that putting the port-a-potties next to the corrals was disastrous. Trying to navigate that area was horrible with the lines for the johns. The finish area was also quite a let-down. Having to navigate that area and finish chute trying to get back to parking was awful.
Otherwise, this is a top-notch race with great support, bands, crowds. I love the route, especially the quick pass through the stock yards. The weather was perfect in spite of the icy conditions leading up to the race weekend. I was glad they moved the expo till later in the day on Friday to allow the roads to clear up for those travelling in.
