The course goes through serveral parks and bridges, since everything was just turning green in April, the scenery was really nice and fresh. The weather was pretty much perfect and cool for most of time, it didn’t really increase until closer to noon. We ran over a few iron bridges along the way, and it felt like the whole course was designed to show off some best spots inside the parks. We also got to see a few of stunning waterfalls which made the race lots of fun. The traffic control and aid stations were also very well organized, also appreciated all volunteers and cheer squads. Near the last 6 miles, there was a live band playing, which was really fun and gave a nice boost in the end.
However, the only downside was there weren’t enough porta-potties for the full marathon.
