All Day Running Co. Just put on a fantastic weekend of events. I signed up and did the 5k on Saturday and the Half Marathon on Sunday. You got a third medal for completing 2 distances over the weekend. The medals were really nice. Everything from packet pickup to race day and after party was very organized. A few local vendors were also on site. They even had a “sauna village” for after the races that had saunas, cold plunge tubs, showers and fire pits going, all on the beach!!! The race courses were well laid out and marked very well. There are 3 bridges to cross, so there is some work to do, but other that that the course is mostly flat. The weather was perfect am my pacer was right on time, literally! Not a ton of crowd support but there was a fair amount of people scattered around the course so you definitely did not feel like you were running in no-mans land. This is an event I will definitely put on my list to do again!!

This was my second time running this event. Everything I said in my review from 3 years ago still holds true! A very well organized event and the course is just beautiful. I even convinced a couple of friends to run this with me and they really enjoyed it as well. You will not be disappointed with this race!!!

I got injured 2 weeks before this race, but since it was part of a family vacation I still participated. I wasn’t able to run so I walked it. In hindsight this might have been a blessing as I was able to take in the sights and sounds more than if I had been running. The event itself was amazing. Different types of bands / music throughout the entire course. Unbelievable crowd support as well. The course runs through a neighborhood at one point and almost every driveway had people out cheering, giving out shots or beer along with water. One house even had their own band playing in the driveway. The had a Tom Cruise and Ron Burgundy impersonators on the course, cheerleaders and a host of others throughout the course.
The expo was so so. Nothing spectacular but still nice. The after party area was fun and the entertainment was nice also.
All in all a really fun event. I would like to do it again in the future, so I could actually run it, but who knows!!

The expo was fairly large with a lot of vendors having freebies which was nice. The race itself was very well run. The course was mostly an out and back down the A1A highway. The views of the ocean with the sun coming up over the beach and palm trees is unbelievable. Finishers medal was nice as well as the dri-fit race shirt. I would recommend staying somewhere near the course as getting into the area is tough due to traffic in the area. Other than that it is a good race and would recommend this race to anyone.

Running through the Battlefield is surreal. It is amazingly beautiful and a bit sad at the same time. Sad in the sense of what happened there during the Civil War. The event is very well run by the Chattanooga Running Club. Course was accurate in length. The pacers were great. Packet pickup was quick and easy. Food at the end was great including the hot soup and Moonpies!! Even though this was a medium sized event it really had a small event feel. I mean that in a good way. This was my first half marathon and I am considering going back to do my first marathon. Do this race!!! You will be glad you did!!!
