The Naked Bavarian Trail Runs are lower cost, simple swag, and with great trail support. They have some of the best trail aid stations and with many runners attending you will see someone you know. Aid stations have almost anything you would want or need. At the end there are many food options including soup, hotdogs with sauerkraut, baked cake, candy, and hot coffee/tea/cocoa. Often one can register last minute. No one is running around naked as its a lower cost race.
