A challenging but scenic race through the hills of Cincinnati and bridges to Kentucky and back. The city takes this weekend very serious with all the races and events leading up to the marathon. The atmosphere is electric with crowds lined up and down the streets. Miles 6-10 are the true testers of this course with going through a chain of hills with beautiful overviews of the Ohio River. To get you through these there a plenty of water and aid stations at every mile keeping you hydrated and at your aid if assistance is needed. Overall it’s a great blend of challenge, community, and fun. Whether you are looking for a PR or wanting to do something memorable with friends, The Flying Pig is one to remember! No wonder it was voted the best marathon in the nation!!!
