This year was the 40th anniversary for the Cowtown. They celebrated by having a party in a room across from the race expo. It was a lot of fun. Free alcoholic drinks, finger foods, flavored waters, and there was a band that played as well. My son and I went and stayed for about 45 minutes and had a good time.
My favorite part of the race is running through the stockyards, minus the section where you can smell all the animal poo. I do this race every year and always have a good time.
