I train alone so the lack of crowds, especially in the back half was not an issue for me, but heads up there are not tons of spectators. The pacers who took care of us in the four hour range were great, very personable and encouraging. If able, I’ll be back.

Of the seven marathons I have done, including NYC, the overall experience in Cincinnati is the best. Sure the course is challenging, isn’t that why we do this? The crowd support is phenomenal, the logistics of the day are great, the team in charge of everything have thought of everything. This is a great experience for first timers and repeat runners AND walkers.
