My first half marathon

This was my first half marathon and I couldn’t have had a better experience at any other race! The best part is the support from the community. Passing block party … MORE
This was my first half marathon and I couldn’t have had a better experience at any other race! The best part is the support from the community. Passing block party after block party of people there to support runners and Akron Children’s Hospital gave me the rush I needed to push through the hard points and finish with a time better than any of my training. Excellent communication throughout the process, and the shuttle service was flawless. Also, it was an unseasonably hot day, and the staff went above and beyond to keep people hydrated, safe and informed. I will always remember this day!
