Being from Central Kansas, we don’t exactly have an abundance of hills—unless you count overpasses and driveway slopes. So tackling the never-ending hill of doom was already an adventure. Getting passed halfway up by a guy in a dinosaur costume? That was the comedic relief I didn’t know I needed.
All jokes aside, this race was incredibly well organized and had amazing community support. I’d absolutely do it again—preferably after a little more hill training (and maybe with my own dinosaur costume for moral support)! 🦖🏃♀️
