This is a smaller race, and very well organized. Easy check in at the local park, fairly nice swag (cool trucker hat and T shirt), not really an expo. The race director runs the 10 junk miles podcast and was super friendly and supportive. The race is on a pancake flat rail trail that was mostly shaded. This year there was a detour that took you along very hilly, scenic, rural roads. I kind of liked the scenery, but definitely was not flat. lol The aid station was VERY well stocked with all the goodies you’d expect at a trail run (cookies, sandwiches, candy, chips, granola, pickles, etc etc). The volunteers were amazing and friendly. Nice medal. There was a food truck serving realllllly good pizza at the finish and all you could drink Spotted Cow beer. We really enjoyed the race and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely, flat trail run.
