This is a great first time course as it is FLAT and in November which is the cool time for South Florida. Miles of pristine beauty and a rare opportunity to run through the ACTUAL park!! Medal is AWESOME!!!! I WILL RETURN

The course is all paved and circumvents the reservoir on the south side of Estes Park. Night time run which allows for cooler temps and easier on Flatlanders (Like me). Packet pickup was easy and the swag for the Elk Doubler is AWESOME!! The medal is a smaller version of the half marathon and there is a third medal for finishing both!

Flatlanders would benefit from this as a first time course. The mountains cheer you on as you race around Estes Park. The aid stations are excellent and swag is AWESOME!! I did the Elk Doubler which had the 5K the night before in addition to this run. Great practice run before Pike’s Peak!

First altitude run and LOVED IT!!!! Hills are KILLER but that adds to the challenge and uniqueness of the course! Simply breathtaking scenery with support from locals, family, and friends, where they could stand and cheer! Kudos to the fast actions of one runner and EMS for saving the runner who collapsed early in the race! BAD ASS!!!
