This race was simply wonderful. The footing on the course was fantastic and was a nice change of pace with some rolling vineyard hills. Even without and elevation map, I felt like I understood what I was getting myself into. There was one small out and back that was on the road which was not my favorite part of the race, but for a short two or so miles of the half marathon; not that bad. The signage was perfect and there were so many beautiful vistas where they had added signs to enjoy the view which was perfect. Highly recommend!

This was my first 1/2 marathon and I wanted it to be a big one. The scenery running (except for a small stretch on Embarcadero) was wonderful and the weather was perfect. It was very crowded and I never felt like I was running in my own space, which was to be expected. The swag was pretty good (I registered when they were offering a swag pack) but it was still a very expensive race. I did enjoy the experience overall as a first time runner and will probably do it again with some friends next time.

The 11k was a really rewarding and challenging course. It was a really fun time and such a beautiful location. Would love to run again! The morale at the event was so fun and the vendors were all super nice. Loved the La Sportiva sunglasses too!

Super fun race with lots of camaraderie during the beerfest for runners and non runners alike. Lots of beers (and a few ciders) from all walks of life with an understandable emphasis on the IPAs. The shuttle service that went from Santa Rosa to the Barlow was so helpful! Made the race morning way less stressful.
