This was a great first 100. Unfortunately I went into it nursing a knee and after the first 50 knew I was in trouble and dropped. That being said it was an excellent race. First rate aid see. Everything you could need they had they for you. Right when you need it. Signed up to try again in 2019!

The best part of this race isn’t the course actually, it’s the race production crew, all of the volunteers, and all of the other runners. The race feels more like a homecoming than a running event.
It’s a 3-1/4 mile ( plus or minus) loop of mixed single track, open field, gravel (and even a very short strip of pavement) that brings you back into “tent city” about every 30- 40 minutes or so. You get to see everyone, often. The tent city aid station is well stocked with everything you may need, and even things you didn’t know you needed. They have music pumping, people cheering, relay teams hanging out and handing off, and everyone’s friends and family just hanging out and socializing.
It’s very high energy, very fun, and very hot!
