The energy and volunteers are what makes this race. This race flew by, I was so entertained by the bands, fun route, and encouraging volunteers. Yes, the uphill at the end was terrible but a half marathon is supposed to be a challenge right? The bit through the stockyards was awesome but tough on the feet with the cobblestone. I feel like the whole production was seamless from start to finish. At the end, you are directed through a series of swag stops and it was like christmas morning. Can’t wait to do this one again and again!
