The Akron Marathon and half marathon was a fun and nice race ..the weather that day was perfect and the race went smoothly…I will definitely do this race again next year…after the race they had a lot of venues and food trucks setup for everyone which was cool. But overall experience was nice and I like that they had free parking.

The Cleveland Marathon was a fun and challenging race. The weather was nice and cool with some good winds to keep you chill. The hardest part of this race was running on the shoreway by the lake …other then that Im glad that I did my first full marathon in Cleveland.

The Rock and roll race series is awesome. I ran the half marathon in Vegas and had a great time. They had plenty of music and lights and even pyrotechnics. There was lots of excitement in this race. Definitely a big race, they said 27,000 people competed. I had a great time and they had the blue men group there to start the race. I am a fan now of the rock and roll racing series and look forward to doing more of their races. The only cons with this race I have is at the end of the race it was definitely crowded and everyone was all kind of stuck together slowly walking down the street until we got past these gates that they used to block off the sidewalks. Which sucked because everyone was all sweaty of course and all sardined together. But other then that the race was extremely entertaining and fun. I would definitely recommend this race to anyone.

The Cleveland west road runners fall classic race was definitely a challenge. The race was cold and I was not a big fan of the course. We had to do this 61/2 mile course twice. Which can definitely put a mental strain on you. Other then that it was fun and challenging. The medal itself is really nice and you received a nice zip up jacket as well.

The savage race in Dade City Florida was ok. It was definitely easier then the Ohio one and felt a lot shorter too. I was disappointed they didn’t have certain obstacles. The pros of the race where decent weather and it was mostly in a open field. I was glad I did not catch poison ivy at this one like the one I did in Ohio. The major con for me is that it is definitely a cash grab. For example not only do you pay for your ticket to participate but you also have to pay for parking and pay to have your bag checked and if you bring anyone along to watch you race, you have to pay for spectator passes. Other then that I do enjoy these obstacle races because it’s a nice switch up compared to doing regular running races.

Fun race and highly recommend. The weather was great that day. The race was fun with lots of people there to support you and they did a good job at having plenty of hydration areas and restrooms for the runners. I will definitely be doing this race again.

It was a fun and challenging race. I’m glad I did this one first, because later I found out that the one in Ohio is one of the hardest. This is Because they had the course set up on a ski resort which means a lot of uphill running. I highly recommend obstacle courses to any one looking to switch things up from normal running.
