This race was so well run and very runner friendly. Getting to the start was easy and there plenty of port a potties around. The aid stations were plentiful and the support was amazing. After finishing there was plenty of food and we didn’t have to walk miles just to get out and to the post race party. Going into the race, I was terrified of all the hills but they ended up not being too bad. I felt strong and empowered by the course. As my 12th marathon this has definitely made my top 3 of favorites.

This race was very emotional. From the pasta dinner speakers to running through the hospital it put a whole new meaning to why I was running. This was my 3rd marathon in 2 months. I was hoping to have a good race because the first 2 I ran with friends. I found the course to be very difficult. I wasn’t expecting the hills and they killed me. It also was warmer and more windy then i was prepared for. I ended up walking a lot even though I should have been able to run the whole thing. The race was very well run. Being able to hang out in the baseball stadium before and after the race was very nice. The course support was great. I recommend this race although I am not sure I would run it again.

This is my 2nd time running this race and it was my 10th marathon. I ran this with a friend and kept with her pace. Everything about this race is complicated. Getting to the expo and around the expo is difficult. Getting to the start line is the worst experience ever. The wait for the bathrooms was unbelievable. The bus ride took forever and then the walk to the first toilet was forever. You spend so much time on your feet waiting in lines before the race even starts that you are tired before u start running. The race was so over crowded. There are a ton of spectators but they crowd the course and stand in the street. The finish is horrible. You walk forever to get the cloak and then u walk forever to get out of the park. I don’t understand why people like this race.
