this is a race I do every year and was my 8th year running. I have run both the full and half marathon and the full is a gorgeous course. I love the serene scenery of the full and the temperatures are always perfect in the morning. The early start is worth it, because it heats up fast. There is great post race food, some of my favorite. Who doesn’t love fruit bars at the end, when frozen, they are perfect after a sweaty, hot race. The half is flat and downhill and a fast course, but my favorite is the full because it has better scenery. You do run along the river for some time in the half, and there’s always great spectators cheering you on and great signs along the way done by others. The prizes are great too, if you are an elite runner or top runner. I have run prize money in the full and have earned some great trophies and plaques as well. The atmosphere is great!! You won’t want to miss this one!!
