Very disappointed this morning Brownsville Chief of Police half marathon. I was 3rd place whole the time until around mile 11.6 I became lost and couldn’t find mile 12 and don’t know where finish line. I stopped my watch at 13.1 miles and went in gas station and ask them call the sheriff and tell them the runner is lost and can’t find finish line. 10min later border patrol came gas station took me to the finish line and I crossed 2 hours 1 min. Very upset very frustrated. I could have either finish 2nd or 3rd in about 1:20-1:21. Thank you for ruin my chance of personal best time and I came long way from my home Florida for this personal best time. Cost me $500 airline to get there for race. Ridiculous.
