This was my third time running the Big Sur Marathon – first time for a charity. It is one of my favorite places in the world and to be able to run it is such an amazing experience. You get to run through the redwoods of Big Sur, along the coastline and across the Bixby Bridge – who can ask for a better backdrop. And the production of the race, logistics, and communications is top notch. Can not speak more highly of the race. Hopefully I’ll be able to do it in the future!

The Monterey Half Marathon is one of the best half marathon races in the country. You get to run through historic cannery row and along the beautiful coast. This years’ race was sunny and cool and the production is top notch. Definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for their next half.
